Special Courses: Tai Chi for Teens

This special course focuses on adapting principles of tai chi to a younger mind and body. While the popular image of tai chi is older people moving gracefully and quietly in early morning sessions, tai chi can be of great use to teens as well, for slightly different reasons.

The physical movements we will learn, along with light partner practices, help students feel their bodies more -- and get out of their heads, reducing stress and building grounded confidence. These movements are also the gateway to deeper meditation practices.
