Dragon and Tiger Chi Gung teachs to help energy move through acupuncture meridians. It is both invigorating and relaxing.

You can easily learn the basic movements, regardless of your age or physical ability. Dragon and Tiger is especially recommended for people with chronic illnesses or who are highly stressed.

Dragon and Tiger is excellent as a preparation for Tai Chi and other Chi Gung practices.

Dragon and Tiger is composed of seven movements. In the 1st part of this introductory course, you will learn the principals of Dragon and Tiger Chi Gung and movements 1 and 2. In the 2nd part you will learn movements 3 to 7. A practice DVD is also available for a cost of twenty dollars.

In these courses you will learn how to gain the “energy of a Tiger“ and the “flexible, fluid movement of a Dragon". You will learn how to move energy in an effortless, fluid and efficient way throughout the body.

Particular emphasis will be placed on refining hand sensitivity in all the hand positions (palm, beak hand, sword hand), and using the entire arm, including the shoulder blade, to move the hand. We will also focus on foot sensitivity. We will show how breathing helps the smooth movement of energy. We will play on how the transitions between the moves help maintain a continuous flow throughout the set. This curriculum will keep evolving to address the needs and wishes of the students enrolled in the course.
