BTC Class Tuition, Registration, Refund, and Weather Policies
Tuition for all classes is due before or at the first meeting of the class. New students taking beginning level classes have until the end of the first week of the term to register and pay for their classes. Tuition may be paid online through BTC’s website registration system, or by check at the first class.
Class and workshop fees are nonrefundable. If a student is unable to continue a course for medical reasons or unforeseen circumstances, he or she may request a pro-rated credit towards another course or workshop the next term or within six months.
BTC reserves the right to cancel or consolidate any classes due to insufficient registration or lack of instructor. If a program is cancelled, a refund will be issued.
Weather: Information about inclement weather or area emergency cancellations will be available on the BTC website, sent out by chi-mail, and by calling (617) 277-2975 extension 0. Class is cancelled during a snow emergency/parking ban declared by the town of Brookline, however class cancellations do not always follow local public school closings. BTC instructors will make every effort to make up cancelled classes by the end of the term, but in the event that the class cannot be rescheduled, students may choose to attend another class offering that is convenient to their schedule free of charge.
Try before you buy policy
You are welcome to try a sample class in any course that you have never taken during the first week of classes and then decide which course you wish to register for. Registration and payment is due by the end of the first week a session has started.
